SEC         :  F

1. Draw an ellipse with major axis 100 mm and minor axis 60mm (half by concentric circle method and other by oblong method)

2. Draw parallelogram of sides 120 mm and 80 mm with included angle 70°. Circumscribe ellipse to the parallelogram. Determine its major axis and minor axis.

3. A fielder throws the ball towards wicket-keeper from 1 mtr above the ground. Wicketkeeper catches the ball at height of 1 mtr above the ground. Distance between the fielder and WK along the ground is 70 mtr. The maximum height achieved by the ball above the ground is 40 mtr. Draw the trajectory of the ball.

4. Lines OA and OB are 75° with each other. Point P is 35 mm from OA and 45 mm from OB. Draw hyperbola passing through point P with OA and OB their asymptodes. Determine its focus & eccentricity.

5. A circle of 50 mm diameter rolls on straight line. Draw curve traced out by point P on the circumference of rolling circle, when circle rolls half revolution on horizontal line and other half on verical line.

6. A composite figure consists of semi Hexagon of 30 mm side and a semicircle. A tread of length 165 mm is tied at one of the corner and wound on the periphery of the figure keeping it tight. Trace the curve generated by the free end of the tread P and name it.

7. A link OA, of 100 mm long rotates about O in clockwise direction. A point P on the link which is at 15 mm from O moves with uniform velocity and reaches end A, while the link rotates through one and half revolution. Trace the path of the point and name the curve.
